Generally tall 28-45”, with large vibrantly colored blooms 3-6” across, wide foliage and well branched stalks, Louisianas like an acid soil with plenty of humus and moisture. Excellent as a pond plant or in boggy areas, here in Southern California we plant them in plastic lined holes and use drip irrigation. They are a striking addition to your landscape adding variety and interest to your garden. |
